A prominent and well respected lobbyist who is often in my office, placed his hand on my shoulder during a Committee hearing and left it there for several moments. It was not a "hey I need your attention to ask you a question," touch, it was a lingering, unnecessary touch.

I told my Chief who was outraged and sympathetic, but I didn't want to do anything more about it, even though I felt disgusted.

An old roommate of mine works in the building and told me about lobbyists dismissing her, talking to her inappropriately, and calling her "young and pretty," among other disgusting things.

What kind of training do lobbyists get on sexual harassment? Is there any?
